Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has been the recipient of several distinctions, including an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honoured with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first recognized for her acting in the year 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the principal casting in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The next year, O'Hara and Candy began working on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned praise from critics for her work as a comic actor and writer, securing a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
